The 41-year-old comedian took to TikTok on Thursday, January 25, to show off her hair curling skills while holding her 1-month-old son in her arms. “Curling your hair with the baby on your sternum,” she said in the clip, wrapping her hair around the device.
As she continued styling her hair, Cummings assured her that her baby was not harmed in the process. “I’m not letting it get to me,” she said, explaining that amid her beauty routine he “didn’t wake up.”
Anticipating the reaction of mom-shamers, Cummings joked that “child services” were coming to her house. “Illegal or just annoying?” she captioned the post, which drew mixed reactions from fans.

Thursday’s video comes after Cummings shared a different — and relatable — motherhood moment earlier this month.
In a hilarious clip shared via Instagram, Cummings accidentally spilled (cold) soup on her son’s head. When she tried to eat food while holding her son close to her chest, the food dripped off her spoon and landed on her noggin. Laughing, he licked the soup from her head and continued eating.
