Now that Kailyn Lowry and lover eliza scott have brought their newborn twins home from the NICU, they’re revealing the first photo of their little ones.

Sharing a teaser for the Friday, Jan. 26 episode of her “Barely Famous” podcast via Instagram, Lori, 31, uploaded a photo of her kids in the hospital. in the picture, teen mom 2 The alum was sitting on a chair holding both babies, who were wrapped in blankets and connected to separate incubators via multiple wires.

On her Friday podcast episode, Lori revealed that her twins spent several weeks in the NICU because they were born five weeks before their due date.

“It was really scary because… we experienced the NICU for a few days [with Rio] And he was big. He was 9 pounds, so it was different for us and we had to go home shortly after,” Lori recalled, referring to her eldest son with Scott. “But for twins, we were five weeks early and there were two of them. I couldn’t catch them the next day or 48 hours [later],

During the podcast recording, Laurie recalled that she was frustrated that doctors never gave her straight answers about the reason behind her children’s health challenges.

“I have never in my life seen a child not wake up to eat or show signs of hunger,” Lori said Friday. “He never showed any signs of feeding and when I tried to feed him, he wouldn’t take the bottle. And it was really hard because I was looking at him, and [while] He’s in the NICU for those reasons, but he’s also taking a bottle and has no problem with it.”

She further said, “I cried a lot. I probably cried more on the trip to the NICU than the C-section.”

Lori and Scott were able to bring their son, who was born first, home before their daughter.

“I think there’s a huge difference between the twins, because she was in the NICU alone for so long, for so many weeks, and he was at home,” Lori said. “He’s more okay with himself…whereas we were at home with him and someone was always with him, holding him and all that. Now that he’s home, I feel like this is my bonding experience [with her] It has been much better.”
