The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted very dense fog and severe cold day conditions to continue over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar till January 29. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert for the states.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the national capital Delhi was recorded at 4.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is four degrees below the season’s average.

IMD forecast: Rain

-There is a possibility of rain or snowfall over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on January 27 and 28, followed by moderate rain or snowfall between January 29 and February 1.

-Heavy rain or snowfall is expected in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad on 28 and 31 January.

-Rain or snowfall is expected in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh from January 31 to February 2.

IMD forecast: dense fog

-On January 27 and 28, very dense fog is expected in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

After this, IMD has predicted dense fog in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for the next 3 days.

-Dense fog conditions have been predicted over Uttarakhand, North Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura on January 27 and 28.

-Dense fog is expected in North West Rajasthan on 27th February.

IMD forecast: cold day

-Severe cold day conditions are expected in Bihar on January 27 and 28.

-After this, cold day conditions are expected in Bihar for the next 3 days.

-Severe cold day conditions have been predicted over East Uttar Pradesh on January 27, and cold day conditions have been predicted over the region on January 28 by the IMD.

-Cold day conditions have been predicted by IMD over North Madhya Pradesh on January 27.

IMD forecast: cold wave

-Cold wave conditions have been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, East Uttar Pradesh on January 27.

IMD forecast: minimum temperature

-IMD says no significant change in minimum temperatures likely over many parts of Central and East India and West India during next 2 days

-IMD has predicted that after 2 days the minimum temperature will increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius for the next 3 days.

-The weather agency has also predicted that there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over many parts of northwest India in the next 24 hours followed by a rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 3-4 days.
