Prashanth Neel’s direction is commendable. To his credit, it must be said that despite the confusion in many places, he managed to keep the audience completely enthralled. Overall, Salaar will be a comfortable earner. It will do business in mass oriented cinemas.

Salaar starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan is unapologetically over-the-top, and yes, it can be confusing. This is the kind of film that would benefit from a ‘KUNJI’ – essentially a guide book for dummies. Will I return for part 2? Absolutely

Until the violence is comic book and ‘Games Of Thrones’ type stylized, you can find a way to rationalize it; the trouble raged as it became more ‘real’. Salaar Part 2 promises more, more, more. Are we ready for it? Most of part one is blinding enough, numbing you to the carnage and mayhem: all noise, meaning very little.

Generally, Salaar is only for Prabhas fans and for those who feel that an assault on the senses is a form of cinema. But if you love your eardrums and have had your fill of the superheroic exploits of an underdog top dog hero, you can probably give this film a miss.

Prabhas looks stunning and his swag is unmissable. As a Darling fan, you will have many seeti maar moments and some that will leave you in total awe of the Rebel star. It’s an out and out treat. If you liked KGF, chances are you’ll find Salaar appealing too. And everyone who hasn’t had enough of the action, violence, blood and gore on the big screen, here’s the perfect movie to end your year with a bang.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire combines political drama with high-stakes action and champion brotherhood. This is an immersive watch for those with a taste for grand and epic narratives. Fans of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran will find much to admire in this intense and captivating film. It’s a film that will entertain and impress with its scope, but may require some patience in the initial stages, mostly to establish the world of Khansar and its inhabitants and set the stage for Salaar: Part 2.

Overall, Salaar” is a treat for Prabhas fans as the actor has not looked this good since “Baahubali 2” and the heroism-elevation sequences work well. It can satisfy fans and action movie lovers with solid action stunts and a lavishly mounted environment. However, it is ineffective for those who seek meaning and appearance. Despite the fact that we engage with his narrative, the film leaves us with the impression that something is missing.

Overall, Salaar: Part 1-Standstill stands out as an intense action drama that features a great performance by Prabhas, especially in action parts, and Prithviraj. The well-executed stunts add to the film’s overall appeal. However, the simple narrative, a somewhat dragging second half and excessive violence are the notable drawbacks. If you are a fan of Prabhas or enjoy high-octane action-packed movies, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is worth watching this weekend.

Overall, in Salaar, even if you miss the first half entirely, you won’t miss much. However, a more high-scale, action-packed and improved second half makes it worth a one-time watch for action lovers.

Well, when it comes to comparisons with KGF, Salaar carves its own niche, with unique emotions and characters. The film’s tone is from the opening scene, which showcases Prabhas’ versatility as he transitions seamlessly from innocence to aggression, a facet thoroughly explored in Salaar.
